These are the Chemicals we use in the field. We love them becouse they make us look good to our clients.
Chlorine/Bromine Feeders
Chlorinators are a great way to stabilize the chlorine levels in your pool. They can greatly reduce waste and required attention. You can load them up and they keeping putting out chlorine for over a week. Easy to adjust, adding alot of Chlor-tabs or stick and lowering the flow settings, creates a buffer from the heat, the sun, rain and heavy use. Although these conditions can 'zap' the chlorine from your pool, the chlorinator continues to put out a a high concentrate of chlorine.
Safety Chlorinators take the Chlorine tabs/stick out of the skimmers and floaters, where children can get there hands on them or they can end up damaging your pools surface, and they put them in an enclosed container within the filter area. Safe from children and away from the pool itself
The Hayward Line
The Hayward CL220 chlorinator
(off-line model)
This chlorine feeder attaches to the plumbing in your filter system by simply drilling two 3/8 inch holes before and after the filter (or after the heater if so equipped) and installing the included saddle clamps. It handles up to 9 Lbs. of 3" cholrine tables/sticks. It has a flow adjusting dail to insure proper tuning for your pool. This clorinator operates on the pressure difference before and after your filter( or heater) Therefor, if the filter clogges up, the chlorine continues to be dispensed to your pool.
The Hayward CL200 chlorinator
(inline model)
This chlorine feeder attaches to the plumbing in your filter system directly. It has two ports that accept both 1.5 inch male threads and 'pak1500 unions'. It mounts after the filter or heater if equipped. Other wise the same as the CL220.
Chemical feeders should always be installed after a pool heater.
CAUTION:
Extreme care must be excerised when adding chemicals to your pool. Concentrated chemicals may react violently if they mix in the chemical feeder, causing a fire or explosion, which may result in PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY or DEATH.
Never use any petroleum based lubricants on cover O-Ring. Regular lubrication is necessary to allow for easy cover removal. Use non-petroleum based lubricants such as Jack's No. 327 lube or other silicone based lubes.
